Solution Plus Consulting is an SAP consultancy based in Istanbul. Rather than claiming expertise in every module, we chose to go deep on the manufacturing side of SAP — planning, production, quality, maintenance and materials.
A consultant's job is not to explain SAP to the user. It is to explain the plant to SAP.
We have been inside SAP projects for over 16 years. In that time we have delivered 13 end-to-end implementations and more than 30 support engagements. From automotive to pharmaceuticals, from cement to dairy, the plants could not have been more different — but the underlying question was always the same: when and how does what actually happens on the floor become a record in the system?
Alongside implementation, migration and support work, we have also taken project management roles. Scope, budget and resource management on template-driven programmes, and daily stand-up discipline and milestone tracking on agile ones, are for us an inseparable part of consulting.
As well as projects in Turkey, we have worked on international rollouts. We work in Turkish and English.
Approach
Five working principles
These are not marketing lines. They are what we commit to at the start of a project.

Principle 1
We learn the process first
We do not open configuration in the first week. No design happens before we understand how the line runs, who looks at what, and which records are genuinely kept.

We push the standard
Development should be the last resort. Every custom object is maintenance debt at the next upgrade. If a standard solution exists we will argue for it, and where it makes sense we will suggest changing the process instead.

Principle 3
We take master data seriously
The most common cause of delay is not configuration, it is master data. We manage preparation and validation as a work package with its own plan, owner and acceptance criteria.

Principle 4
We document and hand over
Conceptual design, configuration decisions and developments are delivered in writing. We leave everything in a state your team, or another consultancy, can take over.

We say when we cannot do it
Rather than take work outside our expertise, we would rather point you to someone who does it well. It costs us in the short term and pays back in the long one.
